Project Details

LHBL is operating an aggregate plant of 350 TPH capacity in the vicinity of its integrated dry process Cement Manufacturing Plant at Noarai, Chhatak, Sunamganj.

With the intention to increase the area of existing aggregate plant by 5 acres for the purpose of building covered storage shed for the products (aggregate) and addition of transportation/conveyor belts, the company wants to assess any further risks to accommodate in existing EIA and required mitigation measures to add with the environmental management plan (EMP).
  • In the Phase – II of the aggregate expansion, LHBL will be adding an additional land of around 5 acres near the current aggregate plant. In this additional land, the covered stockpile with the automated retraction system and the ground hopper for the independent loading circuit be located. • In this expansion, LHBL will be adding machinery that consists of conveyor belts, a permanent screening station, and a closed covered stockpile with an automated retraction system that will link to the feeding conveyor of the current aggregate plant.
  • LHBL will be installing an independent dispatch circuit for the aggregates that will extend till the jetty and assist in dedicated loading of the vessels for dispatch of the finished products.
