Since land acquisition and physical and economic displacement appears inevitable due to different project interventions, LRD endorses appropriate and sustainable principles through harmonizing national Laws/Ordinances with the social safeguard standard of the World Bank, ADB, IFC, IMF, JICA, DEG, AFDB, and others.
