Magnum Steel Industries Limited plans to build a fully automatic steel re-rolling mill on 22,565 sq. m land at Maddha Baushia union in Gazaria upazila under Munshiganj district having 100,000 MT per annum steel reinforcing bars (rebars) production capacity. The proposed manufacturing facility of steel melt shop comprises two (2) nos. of induction furnaces, each comprising two crucibles of 20 ton capacity. One 6/11 m radius Continuous Casting Machine (CCM) designed to cast billets of 100/125 mm2 cross section and 3000 – 6000 mm length. The plant will require 24 MW electricity /day and 40 m3 water/day.
