Khushiyara Auto Bricks Limited

Bangladesh is a fast-growing economy where real estate and construction sector contributes significantly to GDP. Contributing around one percent to the country’s GDP it provides employment to more than 1 million of people. However, unfortunately most of the brickfields are still traditional technology based which is commonly known as Fixed Chimney Kiln (FCK) technology. These ordinary brickfields which are also environmentally hazardous because of high carbon emission. Moreover, those brickfields are seasonal and only operate in the dry seasons, which also create a demand-supply gap in other seasons as FCK accounts for more than 90 percent of brick kilns in Bangladesh. Such scenario has created an acute demand for all year-round production capable and environment friendly brick production facility. With the above point of view, the sponsors of “Kushiyara Auto Bricks Limited” have decided to establish an environment friendly brick manufacturing project with Auto Tunnel Kiln (ATK) technology with a production capacity of 180,000 pieces of bricks per day, which is aimed to minimize the scarcity of finest quality bricks, at the same time, saving the environment of the country.
