13 KM Express elevated road from Amulia to Demra

Project Details

The Road and Highway Department (RHD), Government of Bangladesh is planning to upgrade an existing two-lane road with undivided carriageway between Rampura Bridge and Demra to an access control four lane highway through Public-Private Partnership (PPP) mode. This Rampura-Amulia-Demra (RAD) Road PPP Project will aim to provide relief to increasing urban congestion by providing a new long-term asset which will support the government objective of improved road transport connectivity in Dhaka. The Project has been conceptualized as part of TA-8909 REG: Enhancing Public–Private Partnership Project Development through Support from the Asian Development Bank (ADB) Transaction Advisory Services in Southeast Asia and the Pacific - Environment and Social Safeguards Consultant (Bangladesh) (49151-001). ERM has been engaged by ADB to conduct an ESIA and develop a Resettlement Action Plan for the Rampura-Amulia-Demra (RAD) Road PPP Project.
