Project Details
Local Government Engineering Department (LGED) has taken a project to construct a bridge over the Shitalakhya river for connecting Narayanganj town and Bandar upazila. The feasibility study finds a suitable location between Ghat no 5 in Naryanagnj and Ispahani ghat in Bandar. The proposed bridge consists of 1475 meters long including 360 m main bridge with 9.80 m width. The bridge will have 18.30 m vertical clearance and 100 m horizontal clearance. It will be an extra dosed PSC box girder bridge.
