Project Details
MRT line 5 Northern Route has a length of 20.00 km with 14 stations and one depot in Hemayetpur area. The alignment of MRT Line 5N consists of two lines, one being the route that connects Hemayetpur with Vatara referred herein as (MRT Line-5N). This route runs through 13.5 km underground stretch to cover high-density areas and 6.5km elevated section. The line will follow the underground section following the Gabtoli-Darus salam-Mirpur 1-Mirpur 10, Kochukhet- Banani- Gulshan 2- Natun Bazar. The elevated section will start from Hemayetpur to Aminbazar station and after Natun Bazar station the line again be elevated till Vatara station.
