The Government of Bangladesh has chalked out short term, midterm and long-term plans to fulfill the objective of providing electricity to all by 2021. As part of the plans, development of renewable energy resources has been taken into due consideration. In this aspect, a Renewable Energy Policy has been enacted with the target to produce 5% of the total power generation by 2015 and 10% by 2020 from renewable energy sources.
To accomplish this, private sector has been identified as key partner. EQMS Consulting Limited has been pleased to submit this proposal to undertake some technical support for necessary site investigations for a proposed 200MW (AC) solar PV ground-mounted project located in the Phulbari Upazila of Kurigram District in Rangpur Division for DOREEN Power House. EQMS Consulting Limited has conducted technical studies regarding geotechnology investigation and hydrology and flood risk.
