Power and Energy Department

The Power and Energy Department (PED) offers comprehensive services across the power sector, including steam, gas, coal-fired, diesel, and renewable energy plants. With expertise in techno-economic studies, project management, substation and transmission line design, and protection systems, PED ensures high-quality project execution from feasibility to commissioning. The team, comprising 25+ experts in engineering, electrical, mechanical, finance, and project management, uses advanced tools and software to deliver in-depth technical assessments, financial modeling, and compliance management for both conventional and renewable energy projects. PED has extensive experience working with global entities such as the World Bank, IFC, ADB, and AIIB on major projects in Bangladesh, Asia, and Africa. Notable projects include the 3600MW LNG plant, REFF, a 42.5MW Waste-to-Energy initiative, and the Renewable Energy Programme (REP), driving sustainability and green finance initiatives.
